Visa

  • Singapore, Brunei, and Japan have the visa exemption agreement with China, passport holders from other countries need the visa to enter China.
  • Participants can apply for a visa at the Chinese embassy or consulate in the region in which they live. To avoid uncertainty, participants will be advised to apply for a visa as early as possible. It is recommended that they apply for a Chinese visa at least 1 month in advance.
  • For most attendees, it is easier to apply for a Tourist ("L") visa; an invitation letter is NOT required for obtaining a Tourist visa.
  • The organizing committee are not authorized to assist with the VISA process beyond providing the Notification of Invitation Letter.
  • The registration fee cannot be refunded when the VISA application of individual being denied.

Invitation Letters

  • A Letter of Invitation is a proof that your paper submission and registration application are accepted by the conference committee board. It perhaps could help with your visa application. However, it does not guarantee you a visa.
  • The invitation leter will be issued ONLY after you have registered and full payment has been received. 
  • All the information provided to issue the invitation letters should be listed exactly as it appears on your passport.
  • Rejection of visa application cannot be the reason to require fee refund.
